Almost exactly a year after I wrote about my epiphany and realising how I wanted to go into Photojournalism, today I uploaded my first image under the 'Photojournalism' section of this website.  It's been a long year of university interviews, A-level exams and self progression but I'm getting there.  I got a place in Swansea university on the Photojournalism degree for September 2011, giving me a year to complete my Foundation degree at Exeter college and push myself as far as I can.  I couldn't keep up with uni at the moment, and I'm not really good enough either, but hopefully by next September I'll be good enough.  I hope that the image I

A Photojournalist. That's what I want to be.  A Photojournalist.  It's a strange feeling finally knowing what I want to do with my life.  I want to take a photograph that changes the world.  I want to capture what life really is, the depths of horror and despair, and the heights of euphoria and love.  I want to take that to the ignorant and the naive and make them open their eyes.  I want to be a Photojournalist.

Just noticed that I had 914 page views.  When the hell did that happen?!  I suppose it would be greedy of me to want to get it into quad figures? I've discovered that I have an obsession with ghost towns.  The town that sparked this obsession is Pripyat, a town built to house workers and scientists for the Chernobyl nuclear power station.  After the fallout it was abandoned and still stands to this day, slowly degrading.  Most of it still stands however and you can visit it so it has become a life ambition to go there and document what I see through photographs.  Failing Pripyat I need to find another ghost town to photograph, but I've decid
